The resort offers breathtaking grounds and a relaxing atmosphere, making it a very pleasant escape. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the variety of pools is fantastic. While the room I stayed in was dated and needed some attention, it was clean and had everything necessary for our stay. Additionally, the location is ideal for easily accessing the beach and nearby attractions. However, the ongoing renovations could be a downside if you're seeking a fully updated experience.
My stay at the Island Hotel was beyond disappointing, marked by construction disturbances and poorly maintained facilities. While the beach access is a key highlight, the lack of proper dining options and the rundown state of the rooms left a lot to be desired. I can't recommend this hotel based on my experience, especially given the high price tag for the quality received.
